Holiday Weekend
Deli Bean Salad
Hey there, Reader!
Wedding season continues so my own kitchen will be a little quiet this holiday weekend. But this week, I got four recipes tested, including a fresh tomato bruschetta-topped pizza I'm still thinking about. More on that one soon!
In the meantime, here's a few Labor Day recipes perfect for a picnic basket or patio party:
from the market. I know...more tomatoes. But come on...tomatoes and good crusty bread? Heaven! My summer balsamic bruschetta is the reason I always have extra tomatoes on the counter this time of year.
at the table. This is the room temp beef sandwich I make for a crowd and always leave with an empty platter.
worth trying. If you haven't made my Italian dense bean salad yet, this is the week. It holds up in the fridge for days and only gets better.
One more for the road: I've also got my husband's cereal mix recipe on my mind because well...football. Perfect to pack in school lunches too!
THIS WEEK IN THE KITCHEN
Writing up a new ravioli recipe and a couple of pasta salads (yes, I'm late with these as we head into Fall but isn't pasta salad always welcome?) By the way, if you're celebrating a tomato bonanza, you'll need my all time favorite tomato coring tool.
