My summer fruit obsession

Hi there, Reader,
I have been on a peach kick lately especially since my head keeps getting turned every which way on summer berries (they're ok; no wait...you get the idea).
Peaches can play sweet or savory. This morning I ate them mixed in with my favorite Greek yogurt and go-to granola.
As for savory, this peach burrata chicken sandwich makes such a great lunch. The simple peach spread is spoon-worthy and so good heated and drizzled over cheese. And if the peaches need eaten same day, this amazing main course salad is one that always leaves an empty bowl.
🍑 Just peachy
Today, I shared on my IG stories that I had messed up storing peaches (left in grocery plastic bag on the counter) and needed some advice. Here's what you all said:
- Peaches don't like to touch other peaches or fruit.
- To ripen, place in open brown bag in one layer.
- Once bought, eat within 2 days.
- They can be stored on a plate (again in an single layer not touching) in the fridge or on the counter separated.
Reader, if there's more peachy good stuff I need to know, pass it on!
Until next time...
