Hiya Reader!
Graduation season is here 🎓 and whether you're hosting a party for your graduate or just having a spontaneous gathering, you're about to get pretty popular with sandwiches that will have your guests asking begging for the recipe.
Italian classic. I've made these beef and pork meatballs for all three of my kids' graduation parties. We're talking 100's of meatballs.
I freeze them ahead of time and party after party, they were always the first thing gone. A big basket of pre-cut brioche slider rolls and a bowl fresh grated Parmesan are all you need. Make a lot of these babies...you won't regret it. Scroll down to see them in action.
Chicago classic. Another grad party winner is my super simple Chicago-style Italian beef. Braised in a Dutch oven, low and slow, and feeds as many people as you need it to. Tray of rolls and provolone, a big bowl of the best giardiniera and everyone builds their own. Talk about easy!
If you want a second sandwich option, this slow roasted sirloin beef sandwich is a little more unexpected — deeply flavored, sliced thin, and the kind of thing that shows everyone the amazing cook you are!
Wishing you all the fun celebrating!
