My pet peeve? Overcomplicating dinner.
Somewhere along the way, we started believing that a good meal has to be a whole production — multiple pans, endless steps, and a sink full of dishes waiting at the end.
I felt it creeping in this week while I was testing recipes. It’s so easy to add “just one more...” causing dinner to be project instead of something you actually want to make on a Tuesday.
Here’s what I come back to every time: Simple food, cooked well, wins. Always.
