babies, blueberries and a question for you

Hi there, Reader! This past week I cooked for 25 women at my daughter's bachelorette, then spent an entire day doing nothing but holding a baby. Not sure it gets any better than that.
We ordered NYC-style pizza with garlic knots one night and they were so good I couldn't stop thinking about them. (I just sent out my own garlic knot recipe last week — if you missed it, hit reply and I'll send it straight to you.)
Now I'm back in the kitchen and fully in farmers market mode. July is almost here and I have pasta salads and easy dinners on my mind. Oh and a quick poll...scroll down for it!
Here are some of my late June, early summer favorites:
at the market. |

Early season ones are smaller and more intensely flavored than what shows up later. This blueberry feta salad is the one that makes people stop and ask what's in it. Sweet, salty, a little tangy, and the best 2 ingredient dressing. |
for the table. |

Summer is when I want dinner done fast with as few pans as possible. This one-pot sausage pasta makes it so easy. Everything goes into one pan, the sauce comes together while the pasta cooks, and it tastes like you spent more time than you did. Make it tonight.

worth trying. |

Tomatoes and Campari tomatoes are starting to show up at the market, and slow-roasting them is the move this early in the season. This oven-roasted tomato method concentrates all that sweetness into something you'll want to put on everything — pasta, bruschetta, eggs, a spoon. |

I often share kitchen tools and ingredients I actually use, usually right inside a recipe email or on IG/FB. I want to make sure those recommendations are actually useful.
